DESIGN DU LIVRE & DU PAPIER

To celebrate the summer solstice, Wittockiana is inviting students from the ‘Book and Paper Design’ workshop at the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre (ENSAV) to present their work: book-objects, artist’s books, minimalist containers or precious bindings, working with leather or creating paper, packaging… there’s something for everyone. The courses offered at La Cambre approach and explore books and paper in their entirety, as part of a contemporary artistic approach.

The exhibition will be an opportunity to discover the wide range of practices and experiments being attempted in all areas (media, formats, layout, typography, editorial writing, etc.). Getting to know, appreciating and/or questioning the projects produced by these young people is a form of participation in the emergence and affirmation of a contemporary artistic and critical sense. La Wittockiana is proud and happy to welcome these initiatives, which pay tribute to the medium of the book.
