Guided tours
Guided tour of the temporary exhibition and the museum (not including the precious reserves)
Led by one of our guides, the tour will allow you to discover the museum, its temporary exhibition, its history and its architecture.
Price: €100 + €3 (entrance fee per person at the group rate; free for Friends of the Wittockiana); except for special circumstances related to the temporary exhibition.
Group size: maximum 20 persons.
Duration: +/- 1h15
Guided tour of the special collections
During this guided tour led by the curator or one of the museum staff, you will learn about the history of bookbinding and the treasures held in the Michel Wittock Collection. You will also have the opportunity to discover some works, specially taken out of the musuem’s reserves by the curator or another member of the museum staff.
Price: €300 + €3 (entrance fee per person at the group rate; free for Friends of the Wittockiana).
Maximum group size: 15 persons.
Duration: +/- 2 hours.
For Art Academies, Heritage Associations: €100 + €3 (entrance fee per person at group rate).
For associations working with vulnerable, isolated or disadvantaged people: 65€ + free admission.
The profits from guided tours are used to further outreach and other museum activites, particularly for our young and vulnerable visitors.
